Stamp Out Diabetes in your Life - 30-day Menu

Wholesome, nutritious, easy to prepare, satisfying!
Whether you're stage 1 or stage 4, you still need to eat wholesome, nutritious food that will not make your diabetes worse
However creating a diabetic menu is not something I would try on my own, as there are many aspects to consider. That's why I developed for myself this 30-day menu in close consultation with my diabetes dietitian!
We had to make sure that in each recipe:
-
carbohydrates, although very necessary, were not the main source of energy
-
proteins, being the body's building block, were the main source of energy
-
trans-fat was eliminated and sodium heavily reduced
-
white, refined products were substituted for brown, wholemeal, wholegrain, raw
-
most dairy products were replaced with nut-milk
-
the ingredients were fresh and, where possible, organic
Most importantly, we had to make sure that I could monitor and adjust my calorie intake each day - just because I had to substitute ingredients from time to time.
One thing I noticed when I was following diabetic menus from the eBooks I purchased, was that I was always hungry - one eBook expected me to survive on four smoothies a day for 10 days and perform an exercise programme designed for Captain America - not really, but the programme was severe. I often wondered if the people writing these diabetic eBooks were actually diabetic or not - as they give very little thought to the poor diabetic, by coming up with stuff like this.
But then I realized that one did not have to follow its contents religiously, and that these eBooks actually prepared me for a different type of food - food that I would normally bypass in the supermarket because it had no sugar or fat content. In fact, these eBooks prepared me for a different lifestyle - one that involved movement each day, instead of staring at a computer screen surrounded by my creature comforts. I must say that I bought a few eBooks to prepare myself lol.
The recipes I selected for my 30-day menu are very good for you. They taste good and look good too. But most importantly, they are achievable, and they make you feel satisfied without the sugar-dopamine rush! Your rush instead is how healthy and light you feel - without starving yourself. Have a look at some of them on my Facebook page and YouTube channel.
But it's not just about what you eat, but how much, because it's the portion control that counts. That along with enough exercise to work off all that you've eaten, and this should put you well on the road to reversing your diabetes, as it did mine.
For just $30, this eBook could transition you from being a foodaholic to a heathaholic. Purchase your copy today!
Cheers
